Need Bootable SD Card Image for MM6108-EKH01-05US (Not sysupgrade)

Hi, I’m setting up the MM6108-EKH01-05US for the first time on a Windows 11 laptop. I have a blank 64 GB SD card and want to flash the correct image using Balena Etcher.

On the Morse Micro download page, I only see files like

openwrt-morse-2.8.5-morsemicro-mm6108-ekh01-*-squashfs-sysupgrade.img.gz

But I think those are for updating an existing system, not for fresh SD card flashing.

Where can I find the bootable factory image to start EKH01 as an access point?

Thanks!

The sysupgrade images are also directly flashable using Balena Etcher or the Raspberry Pi imager. (don’t use the settings feature of the RPi imager, however)

Can you please provide the full SD card bootable image (not sysupgrade) for first-time flashing of EKH01? The sysupgrade image fails to boot, and the LED remains red even after successful flashing with Balena Etcher. I need the complete image with bootloader and partitions for the SD card.

This is the image that we use. The LED is expected to remain red (after some flashing during boot). Just make sure to gunzip the image before flashing to an SD card (unlike if you were upgrading via OpenWrt sysupgrade, where you would not decompress the image).

To confirm that you have flashed it correctly, if you insert it back in your laptop or similar you should see at least a /boot partition.

How do you know that the image fails to boot?
