mode button for extender

I am trying to setup one of the HaloW link as Extender. While reading the documentation it says,
“Hold down the Mode button. The Status LED will first start flashing slowly
green, and then start flashing quickly aqua. Release the button when it’s flashing aqua”

Is this a hardware button? I dont see a button

There is a hardware button! It’s a small one.

If you’ve attached the stand, pick the unit up and have a look between the cutout of the underside of the stand.
