I just order new HalowLink2, and I want to implement my custom feature in the openwrt, but I found the repo doesn’t have halowlink2 board definition there yet. May I know whether you will put it there, or how can I create it my own. Can you give me some guidance ? Thanks!
Our apologies. The HaLowLink 2 is running our 2.11 release, and we are still running through our internal processes in order to get it onto github. Unfortunately, I can’t offer a particular date, but it should be soon.
If you’re very keen, the hardware of the HaLowLink 2 aside from the Morse chip is very similar to the HaLowLink 1. In fact, if you include the correct firmware on the HL1 image and manually set the BCF it will probably work, but no guarantees. At any rate, if you’re feeling experimental you could start working with this image (note ‘Recovering from failed updates’ in the manual if anything goes wrong), but I would recommend waiting until we’ve released the 2.11 source.
