- is there bcf file available for Quectel FGH100M?
- are there plans to support AP mode with the ESP32 SDK?
- are there plans to support RISC-V Espressif MCUs? C6 or new C5?
- are there plans to support any MM8108 adapters or modules?
Hello @dmartauz!
It would be most appropriate to contact Quectel for the appropriate BCF file for the FGH100M at this stage as module vendors create these files for their modules. Though we are looking at options to streamline this delivery as best we can from our side too so users aren’t left behind when we release a software update requiring a BCF change!
AP mode has implications on the resource requirements of the upper mac and driver which run on the host controller. While we are investigating support for AP mode, I am unable to provide a concrete timeline at this stage, and you can expect the minimum resource requirements to increase slightly. Support will be a “soft-ap” and have limitations on maximum number of associated stations.
There are no immediate plans to support the new RISC-V based Espressif MCUs at this stage. However, we are planning on releasing source in such a way that users can compile their own libmorse for different CPU and FPU combinations to add support for platforms we don’t currently have targets for. Keep an eye on our GitHub!
Yes we will be supporting MM8108 very shortly!
@ajudge thank you for your reply. Which MM8108 adapter or module will be best choice for initial development using mm-iot-esp32 in EU region?
