Sounds like you probably have duty cycle enforcement in effect. There’s a mode to avoid it, which opens up the full available bandwidth, but currently requires enabling dynamic channel switching.
Hi nate, thanks for the quick reply
How do I enable this?
In Network > Wireless, edit the network in question and uncheck the “Use standard duty cycle” box. You’ll probably need to do this both AP and client-side if it’s HL2s on both ends.
Wow, it worked!
We have developed a mobile robot that mows the vegetation in PV parks. I am planning to put one Halowlink2 on the robot and one on the charging station. The unit will be inside the robot and I need to place an outdoor antenna on the robot. Do you have any suggestions like length of connecting wire, type of antenna, db etc?
There isn’t really a fully right answer here, a lot will depend on testing. But in general, the shortest possible connecting cable the better, and if it’s a device that will be moving around a lot and dealing with bumps in the terrain, you’ll want to stick with something low-gain (2-3dBi).
