Ha-Low RF testing

Hello,
I’m Asmaa , I’m a test engineer working on RF hardware testing.
I’m intersted on Ha-low protocol, and I would like to do a demonstration on the RF performances of this protocol on a device, and I crossed one of Morse Micro devices (the MM6108-EKH05-05US).
The RF study/demo that I want to do consists on evaluating the RF parameters (Power, frequency drift, modulation, sensitivity…)
I would like to know if it’s possible to send simple packets from the device (mentioned before) to be analyzed with our VSA. And in the other hand I need the device to communicate the number of received packets when sending them from our VSG.
Could you please confirm that the MM6108-EKH05-05US device could be used for this type of evaluation?
Thanks and Best Regards,
Asmaa

Hello,
Did anyone use the MM6108-EKH05-05US for testing the RF performances ?
I would like to know if it is configurable to send Ha-Low packets for RF analysis.
Thanks,
Asmaa

Hi Asmaa,

Unfortunately we don’t release the test tooling and test firmware publicly which allows the level of control you’re requesting. We only distribute these to select module and design partners.

Hi Ajudge,
Thanks for you reply!
I understand your point. But is it possible to have basic AT commands for that pupose or they are confidential as well?
Thanks,
Asmaa

The MM6108 is a Soft Mac chip, so does not use AT commands to bring up the wlan interface.
Feel free to send an email to support@morsemicro.com requesting access to the RF Test Tools. Explain a little bit about your organisation and why you need the tools. If accepted, you will then have to sign an NDA.
