I would like to building Morse Micro openwrt on a board using imx8ulp.
Would it be wise to add it to target?
Thanks you.

For OpenWrt 23.05, which our SDK is currently based on, there is no imx8 support. So you will need to look at adding support to OpenWrt first.
It looks like nxp have attempted this in one of their repos - but I haven’t tried it myself. See this list of commits for the changes NXP made to OpenWrt Commits · nxp-imx/imx_openwrt · GitHub
It would be best to try that repository first to verify that you can build an image for your board and if so pull in those commits to your fork of the Morse Micro SDK. Then in that SDK fork you can optionally create a board target to add the Morse Micro packages
