Accessing the RPI desktop (local or net)

I have purchased 2 eval radios. The wizards are a good approach, but I need to add some of my own RPi SW to the Pi.

How can one make the RPI desktop accessible via the net or through one of the HDMI ports. I see the boot sequence on one of the ports, but there is no command line or desktop.

Please advise.

Hi @Laputa

Can you clarify the specific hardware you’re using? If you’re talking about the Morse Micro EKH01 evaluation kits, they will be running OpenWrt by default which doesn’t have a desktop environment available.

What software are you trying to load onto the device?

Yes.

I know openwrt can be deployed with a desktop. As the product positioned as development environment, what is the process for adding a service of our own?

Is there an example sandbox?

Is there a restriction in the HW or business model of Morse?

There are several tools with the RPi that would help to automate monitoring. I like nodered which actually doesn’t need the desktop.

How do I load it?
