Hope this is in right spot, phone is acting up.

One use I would have is using Halow link as a non interfering backhaul from something like a WLAN Pi or Nomad (Hamina) for packet capture and site survey purposes.

Some critical information is still sent on 2.4 in manufacturing spaces and the risk of Bluetooth shutting down a line could be side stepped by use of sub gig.

Range could also be interesting for something like mining or port container movement.
