Why is end-to-end performance poor through Ethernet, despite good mesh performance?

I’m experiencing an unusual performance issue: when I connect via Ethernet to my first station, local access is fast. Direct mesh communication from first to last station is also fast. However, when my computer (connected to the first station) tries to reach the last station through the mesh, performance is very slow. What could be causing this bottleneck in the end-to-end path?

Curious what HW you use, how many mesh hops you have, and what performance you see? Can you share some more information?

I’m not sure why you would see this.

My understanding is you have computer X — mesh point A — mesh point B, and comms between A and B is fine whereas comms between X and B is poor.

Can you let us know how you’re evaluating the performance, and what actual numbers you’re getting?

I have a computer connected using ethernet to mesh Point A which connected using mesh to Point B.

I can do wget (png file) from my computer to file in Point B and it can take a lot of time, while I do wget from computer to Point A and it’s fast, and from Point A to Point B wget is fast as well
