Rpi 4B w/ SeeedStudio Wio-WM6108 Trouble

Hello all,

Working on this for the first time ..

I have a Raspberry Pi 4B w/ Morse Micro OpenWrt ver 2.9.3 installed.

However it is not recognizing the SeeedStudio Wio-WM6108 anymore (it was prior to the upgrade)

Any suggestion on how to fix this, would be greatly appreciated.

I haven’t dealt with this yet but you mentioned upgrade. Did you try with a fresh install? I did a setup yesterday with 2 pi4Bs without issue with my WM6108

Can you give us some more information about what you’ve installed here? We don’t have a 2.9.3 release for the RPI4 + Wio-WM6108, so is this something you’ve built yourself? If it is, can you share:

  • the DTS overlay for the Wio-WM6108 you’re using (or ideally your fork on github so we can see what modifications you’ve made)
  • the kernel logs from when the morse module is loaded (i.e. what error are you getting)

If it’s not something you’ve built yourself, then where did you get it from?

Thank you .. I presume you complied the image yourself ?

My issue might be related to the pre-compiled image I am using.

I am using the pre-complied image from openmannet (1.5.1) project and then used the upgrade option on installed software.

@faisal unfortunately, I’m not familiar with how the OpenMANET image is created and whether it supports your hardware. I would recommend contacting them for help if you don’t want to look into how the image is constructed.
