MM6108 and NRC7292

I know this post isn’t specifically about MM chips, but has anyone done work involving both Newracom and Morse Micro? I have some Alfa Halow-U routers as well as some AHPI7292S pi hats but I cannot get them to interoperate with the 6108 and WPA3. I consistently see RSN errors in the logs on the Morse Micro side whether I’m on pi5 or pi5 w/ openmanet. I know the NRC7292 is older compared to the 6108 but does that also mean some critical pieces are missing for a successful WPA3 connection between them? One difference is the Alfa routers are using wpa_supplicant where MM has their wpa_supplicant_s1g. I fee like I’ve tried every permutation of the wpa_supplicant settings but no luck yet.

Curious if anyone has seen this problem before.

We regularly run our software through a WFA test bed to ensure compatibility with other Wi-Fi HaLow devices following the standard. Newracom is included in that, and we can associate correctly with a Newracom based kit we have on hand, which appears to use the same chip. Might be worth reaching out to Newracom as well to see if they have any input specific to their kit.

To help debug on our side, it would be helpful to get a “sniffer” capture with a third device. See https://www.morsemicro.com/resources/appnotes/MM_APPNOTE-36_How_to_do_a_Sniffer_Capture.pdf

I’ll start with a device in monitor mode and compare some packets. Thanks!
