The datasheet shows that the maximum RF input power on the MM6108 is 6dBm. Is there any data on how exceeding this duration for a set time will affect the MTTF? Or what is the limit before permanent damage to the IC occurs? I’m asking as I would like to know if designing a FEM with LNA bypass that is part of the AGC of the MM6108 is sufficient for avoiding damage to the IC (and what the typical response time of the control loop is) versus needing to put limiters directly before the IC pin.
