Extender/access point with Starlink mini

Having trouble getting any internet data using 2 Halowlink1 routers in extender mode while connected via Ethernet to my Starlink mini in bypass mode. What am I doing wrong? WiFi connects but nothing loads.

I’m a bit confused. If you have two HaLowLink devices in Extender mode, what is your HaLow Access Point?

Can you indicate what devices you have and what your IPs are? I’m expecting something like:

Starlink (192.168.1.1) ←ethernet →HL1 AP (192.168.1.100) ←HaLow →HL1 Extender (192.168.1.200) ←2.4 →laptop (192.168.1.250)

(i.e. that would be reasonable if your Starlink DHCP server is handing out 192.168.1.x addresses)

Also, when you say ‘nothing loads’, even when you’ve chosen the ‘get IP from your existing DHCP server’ you should be able to connect to the LAN port or the 2.4 on the HL1 AP and access the web interface. If you can take a screenshot of the homepage, this might help us figure out what’s gone wrong.

We have the Starlinks in router mode, and that works just fine with the modules. You shouldn’t run it in bypass like this, because it only gives 1 address and every extender is also DHCPing. My guess is that 1 single device somewhere in the L2 domain has internet, but that is random and not the way you expect.

Its that they already seem to focus on new products instead of improving support to current products that we are having a bunch of other issues :frowning:

Thanks for the reply. From your comment I realized I had the system set up backwards and was trying to connect to the AP and use the Extender with the Starlink. Switched the 2 routers and now it works fine.
