I am new to the HaloLinks - please assist - How do I set up a mesh network with 2 x APs, 6 repeaters and 20 nodes

Hey @BillyP

There are multiple ways to configure a mesh, and different technologies used to do so.
Choosing the right approach will depend on your network requirements - 802.11s mesh, for example, will halve the maximum throughput for each hop traversed.

Without knowing more about your network requirements, it’s hard to point you to a specific technology. Have a read of the two application notes, perhaps try both and see which suits your needs!

I would also suggest making sure you upgrade all your HaLowLinks to the latest version, particularly if you have HaLowLink 1s. There are some useful improvements/fixes for mesh behaviour.

pdfs are in the approved list of extensions and can be attached to your post using the upload icon. You can also attach zips containing your design files…
