# STA\_Connect example timeout issue

hi, I have 2 esp 32 p4 wifi 6 devkits, connected to FGH100MAAMD M.2 boards (soldered using thin wires less than 6cm in lenght) however, when i run softAP example on one esp hoping to connect to it using STA\_Connect example, it simply time outs and never connects

Can this be due to some thread starvation? there is nothing else connected to my esp, just the halow (powered using 3.3v line of esp )  
All tests of porting assistant passed for both boards.

@omumbare FYI currently AP mode is not officially supported in EU, GB, IN country codes. We’re looking at adding it in the 2.14 release (public end of Oct).

To investigate further, I’d recommend adding a callback for scan events to log the scan results received, to see if your STA is seeing the AP at all
