I was just curious if anyone has any information of a higher power Pi Hat, m.2, or mPCIe board? I have been testing with a Silex board, which is 24dbm. I saw the new Quectel chip can go up to 27dbm. But, I don’t think anyone is manufacturing a board or card yet. Does anyone make a MM8108 based hat or card yet? I saw a few USB options with higher (26dbm) power.

As of now, the only higher power option that’s shipping is the Quectel FGH100M-H module. In your desired form factor, Seeed Studio has an mPCIe board that’s not quite standard, but pin-compatible with their LoRa board, and thus works with their LoRa + GNSS hat. (They also have a Xiao carrier board).

We’re still working with our module partners to bring MM8108 modules and eval kits to market, those should be coming quite soon, but I don’t have exact dates yet.
